Submission & Presentation Guidelines

Participants are invited to choose between an oral or poster presentation during registration. Please note that each participant is entitled to present one talk or one poster only. We try to accommodate all requests for oral presentations depending on the availability of time slots. 

 

Abstract Submission

  • 300 words max.
  • No references
  • No abbreviations
  • Affiliation of the presenter only
  • Submission via email using provided template


Oral Presentations

Time:                12 min + 3 min questions/discussion

Format:            PDF or POWERPOINT

Speakers are requested to upload their presentation at the registration desk at least one day before their talk. You will NOT be able to use your own device/laptop for presenting.

Our presentation computers will be running on Windows 10 and are equipped with Power Point 2016, VLC-Player for Videos and Adobe PDF reader. Please ensure that your files are compatible with these programs. Mac users are kindly requested to save their files in a MS Office compatible format. The preferred aspect ratio is 16:9.

Flash Talks

Time:                3 min + 1 min questions/discussion

Format:            PDF or POWERPOINT

Posters

Posters should be prepared in portrait format in A0 size (119 cm x  84 cm).
